Justin Rose, of Great Britain brings Brittania Gold in Golf at 2016 Olympics in Rio.
Justin Rose, of Great Britain Wins the Gold Medal at the Rio Olympics, edging out top Swedish Golfer Henrick Stenson of Sweden.  The USA, after slow starts in the first 3 days of Olympic Stroke play shoots a low, low round, by PGA Pro Matt Kuchar to win the Bronze Medal in the first Golf Olympics for over a full century, 112 years for the last, in St. Louis in 1904.     Rose, a U.S. Open Champion at famed Merion Golf Club two year back played his best game, down to the wire, heading into the final, 72 par five hole in Rio, putting a combination of shots to secure the Golf Medal.  Brilliant, and well done laddie for Great Britain.  The very first Olympic Gold, also won by Great Britian way back in 1900.  Canada secured the Gold in St. Louis by George Lyon.  Hopefully the ancient game of golf will be secured going forward in the Olympics to Tokyo's 2020 games, and beyond.
